Update & The Economic Crisis

Lebanon is going through one of the world’s worst financial and political crises since the mid 19th Century. Around 77% of the population can’t afford to buy enough food and poverty rates now exceeds 50%. There is a severe shortage of medication in pharmacies, and hospitals are on the brink of collapse. There is no fuel which means no electricity, no transportation, no safe food, no drinking water and no businesses. The Lebanese Lira has now lost more than 90% of its value. The situation is deteriorating very rapidly.

In the midst of all this, our team continues to work tirelessly to bring not only hope but practical help and emotional support through the different projects and programmes we run. We choose to believe that God is greater than the circumstances around us and that glimpse of hope gives us the strength to keep going. Please continue to pray for Lebanon and if you would like to support us in any way or know more, please feel free to contact us.
