Worship For Justice

We’ve teamed up with music collective Worship For Justice to bring you a small collection of songs that share stories from some of our work in Lebanon. The songs are available to download for free here, but if you would like to leave a donation of your choice then you can do so. All proceeds from the project go directly to FFRL.

4 Songs / 4 Stories / 4 Reasons to Act

A project inspired by refugee communities in Lebanon

STORY: These songs share the stories of the poor and oppressed in Lebanon. Greener Pastures speaks directly to the refugee crisis, how the international community has failed those most in need, yet how Christ would welcome them into his loving embrace. Sons & Daughters is a cry to restore the joy and innocence of childhood for all the young people who grow up surrounded by conflict. Michel tells the story of a teenage boy struggling with his identity in a multi-cultural/religious community. Finally, Astronaut is the tragic story of a young child, killed as result of stray gunfire near the Shatila refugee camp in Beirut, Lebanon.

ACT: In partnership with The Foundation for Forgiveness and Reconciliation in Lebanon, we are advocating to: 1) show increased support for refugee and migrants 2) raise awareness to the plight of young people surrounded by war 3) build tolerance and understanding between diverse, multi-cultural/religious communities 4) seek constructive, nonviolent alternatives to resolving conflict.
